Celebrate Juneteenth in Frick Park with music featuring local Black artists. Bring a picnic, your friends and family and enjoy!

About this event

This event is free to the public and family friendly. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and blanket, and celebrate with community on the lawn of the Frick Environmental Center. This event will run on renewable energy via ZeroFossil's Solar Powered Stage, and kids energy educational interactives will be on site. Stay after the music for tours of the FEC's Slavery to Freedom Garden. For guest safety and to prepare with proper COVID protocol, we as that guests please Pre-Register your party. Guests will be asked to socially distance and wear masks.


Adopting the motto "Research, Education, and Adventure" in 1947, for three generations the ECP has provided the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends who share a willingness to accept the physical and mental challenges of outdoor exploration and adventure.
