Cost
The yearly cost of membership is $25 for an individual or $40 for a family membership. Persons living in the same household can apply for a family membership, even if they are not related.

As a member of the ECP you have access to the following community benefits:

- Use of our extensive library, including lending library, Newsletters and the club's archives
- Outdoors schools: Rock Climbing in the Spring, Mountain Biking in the Summer, Backpacking in the Fall, and Mountaineering in the Fall/Winter
- Occasional special skills clinics
- Access to Grants for your expeditions and adventures
- Use of the Mobile App for Android and iOS

- Ability to view and contact all members via the Member Directory (available to logged-in Members only)

Subscribe to the Email List (Google Group)
The Club moderates an active Google Group for Member discussions. Members are strongly encouraged to subscribe for the latest news, events, trips and relevant information. To receive or send out ECP- relevant announcements (or suggestions or comments on club-relevant matters):
- Click here
- Click on "Ask to join group"
- In the drop down menu, we suggest choosing the option "Send me an email for every new message"
You must answer a confirmation message from Google Groups to start the subscription. You may also need to check your email spam folders and add the Explorers Club of Pittsburgh to your Safe Senders list. If you notice you're not getting ECP messages (after making certain that spam filters are not capturing our messages, of course) request support by sending an email to our moderators.
Posting Guidelines
Exercise discretion in posting to the group. Post only items that are relevant to Explorers Club of Pittsburgh, and please keep your postings brief. To share a lot of information that only applies to a few club members (for example, to plan an outing requiring signup, shared expenses and carpooling), post a short announcement, and ask anyone interested to email you directly to request more information.
