Community Q&A-Swisshelm Park Solar Farm/Frick Park Expansion

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and the City of Pittsburgh are working to construct a highly-efficient solar array project and expand Frick Park. 

For decades, the URA has intended to build housing adjacent to Frick Park as the third and final phase of the Summerset at Frick Park development. However, their plans have changed direction toward a cleaner energy future for the City of Pittsburgh.

Local resident and community member, Jason Miller, is a member of the Swisshelm Park Steering Committee for this project and will provide an overview of the URA's plans and looks to gather community feedback to provide to the URA. If you love seeing Pittsburgh move towards a greener future or get excited by the thought of expanding Frick Park, stop by to express your thoughts!
