Pittsburgh Winter Beerfest - Volunteer & Beer! Session 3

This weekend is the Pittsburgh Winter Beerfest.  If anyone is free Friday night or Saturday they are looking for volunteers.  For everyone who signs up they have promised to donate 30$ to the organization the volunteers are from.  Here's the link.

 Somewhere in the process it should ask you what organization you are from and just say "Explorers Club of Pittsburgh" and they'll cut us a check.  I reached out to the organizer and he says most volunteers will be pouring beer in pairs.  Both people are free to drink, and it's a task that usually only requires 1 person at a time so the other person is free to walk around and get samples from other booths before returning.


Adopting the motto "Research, Education, and Adventure" in 1947, for three generations the ECP has provided the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends who share a willingness to accept the physical and mental challenges of outdoor exploration and adventure.
