22 In ’22 Wild Tree! West Creek Rail Trail 

Join us to explore Pennsylvania’s Dark Skies & Elk Country!  Our third bike ride in the Pennsylvania Wilds will start in the heart of Emporium, then follow scenic West Creek.  We will pedal a total of no more than 24 miles, up the rail trail and back. With due care at the few road crossings, this excursion is kid-friendly.  Pets in carriers and e-bikes are also very welcome. 

Bicycle helmets are required. The week before the excursion we will send those who have registered an email with more information about the path we will be cycling, what to bring and exactly when and where to meet at the start. If you want to rent a bike, we can recommend a bike rental and help transport up to three bikes.  This trip is offered in partnership with Earth Science Excursions, LLC.
