Each year we come together for the Garden Get Down to reflect upon and celebrate the many ways that growing and sharing fresh local food is helping our community.
Mingle under an outdoor pavilion with local growers, chefs, and educators and learn more about the vital work of helping people learn how to grow food and share in the many benefits gardens and urban farms bring to our neighborhoods.
Join us on September 28 to enjoy tastes of the harvest from 9 Cafe, Veggies N’at, and Secretos, treats from Confections by Casey Renee, local drinks, music by DJ Mary Mack, and a mini seed share as we celebrate the many positive impacts gardening and urban agriculture have made possible over the past year. Garden Get Down is a fundraiser with sliding scale tickets. Please give as generously as you can. All proceeds benefit Grow Pittsburgh’s work to teach people how to grow food and promote the benefits gardens bring to our neighborhoods.
