Hello fellow ECPers,

As you make plans for this weekend, I wanted to share this special work day that your Local Climbing Organization, SWPACC, is hosting this Saturday at Schenley Park!

Have you ever wondered how they built the stairmaster at Seneca or the stone stairs at other well-loved climbing areas? Well now's your chance for a hands-on experience during this "mini" stair building session. (Mini is a slight understatement but fair, compared to the vast stairmaster. ;-]  )

Back in September, SWPACC, in coordination with Access Fund's Conservation Team, improved the rough trail that runs down to the Pillar in Schenley Park. With permission from the City of Pittsburgh in hand, we're aiming to finish up the good work that was started that weekend by installing some stone steps to address a steep, and often muddy, section of hillside.

We invite you to join us and roll-up your sleeves, spend some quality time outside, and help build a more sustainable section of trail for climbers and other outdoor enthusiasts.

We'll likely be meeting at Anderson Playground. Specific info will be shared after you register.
Lunch will be provided.
