Wilderness Lodge – February 6-8, 2026

     (Cost is for Friday and Saturday nights with Sat. catered meal included. Arrive anytime Friday after Noon. No set time to be out Sunday. Stay & leave when you want.)

 Wilderness Lodge Description :

       Wilderness Lodge is in Wattsburg, Pa., near Peak n Peak Ski Resort. It is in a snow belt also near Erie and always a Winter Wonderland. Very unique rustic place in the woods, in the middle of nowhere. Owned and operated by Janes family for many years. Downstairs: Tables and chairs for socializing and playing card or board games, couches and fireplace, books, TV, and bar. (But no one will be selling liquor at the bar, so bring your own.) Upstairs: Bedrooms, bathrooms and showers, sitting room to read. Trail passes are purchased at the Nordic Center building next to the Lodge.

There will be no food service at the Lodge as it was in the past, but we will have a catered meal for Saturday Evening from Fraternal Order of the Eagles in nearby Wattsburg. There will be 3 main food dishes for you to pick from: probably a fish, a meat and a vegetarian. Also, there will be a salad, vegetable dish and probably a soup with rolls that will be available for everyone. (You will choose later your preference for your main food dish.)

 We have access to the kitchen….fully equipped. So for other meals, we will do our own food, using the kitchen, or you can go out to a diner like the one in Wattsburg. You will need to bring what you want for meals or to prepare your own meals. Any food that needs to be stored in refrigerator or freezer, we will use the kitchen. There is enough refrigerator and freezer space for our food. Anything you want to prepare for Friday evening, Sat. breakfast & lunch and Sunday breakfast & lunch, there is enough range and oven space. We have use of pans, dishes and silverware, but if you want to bring a crockpot for something you are doing, that would be OK.  (If need be and if you want, there is a store couple miles away and there is a diner restaurant in Wattsburg.)

$120 per person – Single in Singles Room

$275 per couple – Couple in Private Room

$255 per couple – 2 couples in Semi-private Room

*Some of the rooms that hold only 2 people, which I call the private rooms, fill up fast. So don’t wait to book this.
